Ugh.(More KH)
Well... I've read that the CoM remake will be bundled with Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, and that really upsets me. Should S-E not decide to release KHII:FM in North America... say bye-bye, CoM remake... Grr...
AND THIS JUST AFTER I SAW SCREENSHOTS OF MARLUXIA AND AXEL!! WHY? WHY?!
...
*Calms down*
Damn, that ticks me off. Just sell the damn thing here, S-E, please! People would buy it for CoM by itself, I swear! Everyone who doesn't have a GBA, at least! The profit...!!!

::sob:: Why must they be so mean to us?!
I would love to fight Axel and Marluxia in 3-D...

Technically, we DO fight Axel in 3-D, but it's via Roxas and without the cards. Plus, the battle was incredibly easy and dramatic.
But with the cards and with Sora... YES! Axel pwned so much in CoM... :(
And Marluxia... ZOMG...!
...There's still the chance they might release it, but come on; if not FM, then CoM. Please. The Japanese probably see the CoM remake as an add-on to FM; I see it the other way around.

The Axel battle in II seemed really cheap. It was like I didn't even have to do much.
But the caaaaards!
Me, too-- already know what happens in KHII, but I would love to see them do CoM.

It seems there'll be a lot more Roxas scenes, so that's good. But I really don't know... it's still too early to go emo, though--have to wait it out and see whether or not they'll release it here.

The thing is, I don't see how they couldn't release Re:CoM here just because it's bundled with KHII:FM. That'd be really sucky, I mean, just because we don't get one game, we can't get the other?!
Then again, it all depends on whether or not we even get KHII:FM. We'll have to wait until next year, I guess.

Well, what gets me is why there are even FMs. I mean, I know it's to make money, but why leave it out?

I don't know. The first one was because we got Sephiroth, Kurt Zisa, and Phantom(But they still get Xemnas :\).
As for the second, I think Nomura just wanted to iron out some bugs, or whatever. I agree with that reasoning, but there's no reason to not release it here or in Europe; we didn't get any extra content. A lot of people would buy it.

Yeah. But, I hope that they'll be separate. I can watch the KH extras on YouTube; can't play PS2 CoM on there.
2006-09-24 02:25 am (UTC)
Yeah, but I'd like to get them both, if only for KHII to be redeemed in my eye.

I really do like KHII, it's just that there a few things that could have been done better.
First, too many cutscenes. >< I don't want to walk two steps after one five minute one ends to fall upon a seven minute one.
And that dead-blame 'reaction' button. It made the battles really cool and amazing, yes, but it was such a trial to hit at the right time that you ended up dying anyway.
I did like how they did the Gummi Ship part though... but I didn't like how there were different levels of 'pathways.'

I was fine with KHII, but the plot was so convoluted I wanted to puke. But you already know my thoughts on that.
The cutscenes were alright--I would've liked a bit more gameplay, sure--and the Reaction Button was cool. You just mash 'X'. I mean, that's always worked for me.
The Gummi Ship was still tedious. Sure it was nice and flashy, but I got tired of having to go through a little part just to get to the next world. That's why I totally skipped the Pride Lands and Atlantica on my last playthrough.

I can agree with the plot thing. It would be a bit better to say; well, these guys are evil, you're good, kill them and you go home. ^^;;
Some of the cutscenes held NO purpose. It would be better if they pushed the plot along, but... Nah. I'm a big 'hitting one button repeatedly' person. XD That's how I got through most games!
>_I I got headaches trying to kill all the enemies in those 'pathways.' It was all 'wow, look at this, it's so cool' at first, and then the camera angles start and you want to hurl
